Do law firms regard diversity as an obligation, when they should be looking at it as an opportunity?
In this video, Janet McCarthy, group general counsel and company secretary of global relocation services provider Sante Fe, argues that lawyers have a important role to play as an ethical and moral compass, both for companies and wider society.
At LegalWeek CONNECT, which will take place in London later this month, Janet will be part of a panel of senior lawyers who will be discussing what law firms are doing to improve diversity, where are they going wrong, and how can they ensure they have the right structures in place to create more inclusive environments.
She will be discussing these issues with PayPal chief business affairs and legal officer Louise Pentland, CMS senior partner Penelope Warne, Hogan Lovells UK and Africa managing partner Susan Bright, Eversheds Sutherland co-CEO Lee Ranson and Fieldfisher partner Alison Dennis.
