Firmwide chair role to move away from London as Cheffings prepares to step down

Hogan Lovells has appointed a new global chair to succeed London partner Nicholas Cheffings ahead of the end of his second term in the role this May.
Hamburg-based intellectual property (IP) partner Leopold von Gerlach (pictured) has been appointed as Cheffings' replacement, and will take up the post on 1 May for an initial three-year term.
