Baker McKenzie’s Myanmar office now has just one partner, having seen a string of departures over the past year or so, a time in which the country has proved to be a challenging market for global firms.

Infrastructure partner Jo Daniels is the sole partner in the global firm’s 4-year-old Yangon office. In the more recent exits, corporate partner Ross Taylor and senior counsel Min Min Ayer Naing both left the firm over the past few weeks.
