Dentons restructures Oman office as partner duo depart
Two partners leave firm as part of 'internal restructuring exercise'

Dentons has restructured its Muscat office, with two partners leaving the base as a result.
Partners Dali Al Habboub and Abdelhaleem Amir Mohammed have left to join Dentons' associated firm in Oman's capital, S&A Law Firm.
Al Habboub has been at Dentons in 2001, prior to which he spent five years as an in-house lawyer at Oman state-owned oil and gas company Petroleum Development Oman.
Amir Mohammed, meanwhile, joined the international firm as a senior associate in 2009 and made partner two years ago.
In a statement, Dentons – which has had a presence in Oman for more than 35 years – said: "As part of an internal restructuring exercise, we can confirm that Dali Al Habboub and Haleem Mohammed have moved from Dentons to join our dedicated Omani advocacy practice, S&A Law Firm."
The departures leave Dentons with three partners in its Muscat office, according to the firm's website, which also lists 14 associates and two consultants. Three partners are also listed as working at S&A. The alliance with the local firm means Dentons has full rights of audience in the Oman courts.
Other international law firms with a presence in Oman include Addleshaw Goddard, Trowers & Hamlins and CMS, while earlier this year Clyde & Co launched in Muscat via an association with Fatma Al Mamari Advocacy and Legal Consultancy Firm, handing the firm its fifth base in the Middle East.
Dentons also has Middle East bases in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Beirut, Cairo, Doha, Dubai, Riyadh and Jeddah, which was launched last year.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
