DLA Piper has bagged the latest high street chain to go into administration – fashion retailer LK Bennett.

The firm is advising administrators Ernst & Young, with a team led by corporate restructuring partner Richard Obank with insolvency partners Huw Dolphin and Colin Ashford.

The firm also provided legal advice when Poundworld collapsed last June.

Earlier this year, Legal Week reported that recent high street administrations had been generating fees of up to £6.5 million. DLA Piper was among the biggest beneficiaries as businesses went under, administrator's documents showed.
