Linklaters is advising Italian digital payments business Nexi on its €2 billion listing on the Milan stock exchange, due to take place tomorrow (April 16), which values the company at €7.3 billion.

The magic circle firm is advising Nexi on U.S. and English law, with top-tier Italian firm BonelliErede advising on local law.

U.S. firms Latham & Watkins and Kirkland & Ellis have also secured roles on the deal.

Linklaters' managing partner for western Europe and capital markets partner Claudia Parzani is leading an eight-person team for the IPO.

BonelliErede corporate and capital markets partners Vittoria Giustiniani and Carlo Montagna led for the firm.

Latham & Watkins is advising the joint co-coordinators and bookrunners – including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, local banks and others – alongside local firm Lombardi Segni e Associati.

Latham Milan partners Antonio Coletti and Ryan Benedict are advising on capital markets and corporate law, with Milan and London partners Marcello Bragliani, Dan Maze and Jennifer Engelhardt advising on financing related to the transaction.

Kirkland & Ellis is advising selling shareholder Mercury UK on English law and financing. London-based capital markets and finance partners Matthew Merkle and Christopher Shield are advising for Kirkland.
