Jane Lemon

Keating Chambers barrister Jane Lemon QC has died unexpectedly.

Called to the bar in 1993 and taking silk in 2015, she specialised in construction, engineering, energy, shipbuilding and international arbitration.

She practised in both domestic and international markets and had been involved in several landmark cases, including litigation regarding the English National Football Stadium.

Other work included acting on a $300 million LCIA arbitration concerning the manufacture, transport and installation of one of the world's largest offshore wind farms, and an arbitration concerning a number of disputes on major infrastructure projects in Oman.

Keatings announced in a statement last week that had Lemon died on April 24.

The full statement reads: "We are deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of Jane Lemon QC on April 24, 2019. Jane was an exceptional barrister and a universally loved colleague. She will be sorely missed."
