A number of firms have made bumper partner promotion rounds this year, the latest announcements show.

Of the six promotions, just one is a woman. The firm now has 76 partners in total and a 21 percent female partnership.

Gowling WLG has also doubled its promotion round, promoting five last year and 10 this year in its U.K. LLP. These include six in Birmingham, three in London and one in Paris.

The promotion round includes six women, bringing the U.K. LLP up to a 24 percent female partnership and 150 partners in total. Globally, the firm now has 611 partners.
