ITV general counsel Kyla Mullins is set to review the broadcaster's legal panel this year, after taking up the role in January.

Mullins joined the company from EasyJet, where she had been GC for four years. She replaced former ITV general counsel Andrew Garard after he stepped down from the role.

Mullins is set to review the company's roster of legal advisers this year, one person with knowledge of the situation told Legal Week.

The company's current legal panel consists of Clifford Chance, Hogan Lovells, Slaughter and May, DLA Piper, Charles Russell Speechlys, Squire Patton Boggs, Olswang (now CMS) and Wiggin.

Other firms to have previously sat on the panel include include Addleshaw Goddard and Goodman Derrick.

ITV previously had a much larger roster of firms but in 2008, slashed it from 50 to nine.

After Mullin's departure from EasyJet, the FTSE 100 airline company brought in Daud Khan from Clifford Chance as interim general counsel, but the company has now found a permanent replacement – Royal Mail group general counsel Maaike de Bie.

Other legal panel reviews set to take place this year include those of the John Lewis Partnership and National Grid.
