Internationally, corporate lawyers are feeling the pressures of burgeoning regulations and the need to manage, collect and track growing amounts of data for their clients. While automation, advanced analytics and other forms of legal technology are becoming increasingly common in U.S- and U.K.-based corporate legal departments and law firms, they are also finding a home with their counterparts in Asia and Australia. From the adoption of legal technology by regional firms and corporate legal departments, to local legaltech startups raising significant capital and securing vital partnerships, legal technology has definitely arrived in Australia and Asia. And there are signs that this may just be the beginning of both regions' legal market evolution.
