Ince Gordon Dadds has rebranded simply as 'Ince'.

According to a London Stock Exchange notification, most of Ince Gordon Dadds' affiliated entities and international offices will be known as Ince as of today (May 31).

The name change comes just six months after the combination of listed Gordon Dadds and shipping firm Ince & Co created 'Ince Gordon Dadds'.

Among the offices changing are London, Cardiff, Hamburg, Cologne, Piraeus, Gibraltar, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

However, not all parts of the Ince Gordon Dadds business are included in the global rebranding strategy. The firm's London-based private client and family practice will be known as Gordon Dadds.

Gordon Dadds, before the firm floated, was a Mayfair-based private client practice. The team is also set to move to new premises in west London next month, which the firm said in the stock exchange statement was "a strategic move better to serve its existing client base".

The firm has also adopted a new branding strapline: 'In any case'.

After the firm listed in 2017, it acquired Bristol-based law firm Metcalfes, which has since rebranded to Ince Metcalfes – it will retain its name.

Firm CEO Adrian Biles said in a statement: "This is an exciting moment for our business. The group has had a stellar year, expanding both the services we can offer our clients, as well as our international footprint. This name change represents the culmination of everyone's hard work over the last six months."

AIM-listed Gordon Dadds and Ince & Co merged on new year's eve 2018, creating Ince Gordon Dadds.
