Clyde & Co's revenue has jumped 11% to exceed £600 million ($760 million) for the first time.

The firm has increased its top line to £611 million ($775 million), its outgoing senior partner told Law.com's Legal Week.

According to Simon Konsta, who is set to be succeeded by arbitration co-head Peter Hirst this autumn, half of the firm's income for the 2018-19 financial year was generated in its international offices.

Konsta added that its Americas business accounted for 23% of the figure. He also stated that the firm's financial disputes and the energy, engineering, marine and construction insurance practices in particular grew their revenue, increasing by 23% and 27% respectively.

Konsta said that profits at the firm have increased but did not provide a specific figure.

Konsta is to step down as senior partner, two years ahead of schedule. He will be replaced by Hirst, who will take up the reins on November 1.

"With the firm having achieved another year of double-digit growth, it is my view that now is an appropriate time to hand over to a successor," Konsta said in a statement.

Last week, the firm's new Hamburg office officially opened its doors, while last month it launched a new one-partner office in Dublin.
