Linklaters has hired Roberto Egori as a partner and head of the firm's tax practice in Milan.

Egori joins Linklaters from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a partner in the firm's Milan tax practice.

At Linklaters, he will focus on advising clients on domestic and cross-border structured finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance deals, capital market transactions, private equity, real estate, and pure tax-led mandates.

"His many years of experience and consolidated expertise in tax law do represent an important asset to us," Andrea Arosio, managing partner of Linklaters in Italy, said in a statement. "I am sure he will allow us to maintain a complete offering to our clients both locally and internationally."
