Lisa Mayhew and Steven Baumer, newly elected co-chairs of BCLP

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has refreshed its leadership, with current co-chair Lisa Mayhew elected to a four-year term at the head of the firm. Fellow co-chair Therese Pritchard was not eligible to run for another term and has been replaced by legacy Bryan Cave partner Steven Baumer.

Baumer joined the firm's partnership in 1996 and previously led its global transactions practice. He and Mayhew will serve as co-chairs of the firm for a four-year term, starting in January 2020.

Mayhew joined Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2010 and was elected managing partner in 2015. Following the legacy U.K. firm's merger with U.S. firm Bryan Cave last year, she co-led the firm with legacy Bryan Cave chair Pritchard.

In a statement, Pritchard said: "I am extremely proud to be turning over the role of co-chair to one of the most skilled and respected lawyers in our partnership."

She will return to fee-earning at the firm.
