White & Case has hired two merger and acquisition lawyers in Beijing from K&L Gates.
Former partner Grace Fan-Delatour and former counsel Shaohui Jiang join as partner and local partner, respectively. Both focus on cross-border M&A, project development and finance, and private equity investments in the infrastructure, mining and metals and oil and gas sectors.
In 2017, Fan-Delatour represented China's state-owned COSCO Shipping Corp. Ltd. and Lianyungang Port Holdings Group Co. Ltd. on an investment in a Kazakhstan railway infrastructure project as part of the Belt and Road Initiative. She made partner in 2016.
