Linklaters and Clifford Chance are among the firms advising on the sale of one of the U.K.'s largest pub retailers and brewers, Greene King.

The pub giant, which runs more than 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the U.K., is being bought by Hong Kong-based property developer CK Asset Holdings (CKA) for £2.7 billion.

Linklaters is advising Greene King on the sale, with a team led by corporate partners Dan Schuster-Woldan and Nick Rumsby.

Meanwhile, Clifford Chance is advising CKA and its subsidary CK Bidco on this acquisition. The firm's team includes corporate partners Lee Coney and Nicholas Rees, antitrust partner Alex Nourry and employment partner Sonia Gilbert.

Meanwhile, Norton Rose Fulbright is acting for HSBC as financial adviser to CKA with partner Paul Whitelock and counsel Nicolas Sirtoli leading the team.

Linklaters and Clifford Chance are currently acting on the £1.6 billion sale of a stake in an offshore sea wind project to the Green Investment Group, a subsidiary of asset management giant Macquarie.
