Legal Week has published its annual list of the world's leading private client advisers, trust and real estate litigators.

After receiving more than 8,000 recommendations, the Private Client Global Elite Directory 2019 lists a total of 292 global elite private client advisers.

Last year, the directory received more than 6,000 entries, which resulted in the recommendations of 257 elite lawyers.

This year, the list also comprises an 'Elite Recommends' segment, which recognises individuals across accountancy, tax, private banks, wealth management and multi-family offices who are praised by the community.

The directory, used by the legal community looking for referrals as well as family office and other professional advisers, can be found here.

Clare Maurice, senior partner at Maurice Turnor Gardner, said: "Being recognised in the Global Elite Directory is a phenomenal achievement. It is emerging as a leading beacon of quality. Our partners and senior associates are proud to have been nominated as both Elite and Rising Leaders."

Legal Week also revealed its 'Ones to Watch' list, this year comprising 138 up-and-coming senior associates, barristers and partners with less than five years' experience that the industry should watch for.

Legal Week's parent company, American Lawyer Media (ALM), will host a black tie gala dinner on December 3, 2019 in London to celebrate those listed within the Global Elite. Details of the event can be found here.
