The complainant in the hearing against Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Ryan Beckwith escalated her grievance to the firm's senior partner, after the firm failed to remove the under-fire partner from his position following its internal investigation, the tribunal heard today (October 1).
The second day of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal proceedings against Beckwith heard evidence in chief from Person A – who has accused Beckwith of having engaged in sexual activity with her without her consent. The substantive hearing started yesterday (October 30).
