Andersen Global has ramped up its continued European expansion efforts by adding five new firms to its network, and wants to add another five within the next year.

The professional services giant has entered into collaboration agreements with firms in Slovenia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, it told Legal Week.

The firms are Miro Senica and Attorneys in Slovenia, Joksović, Stojanović & Partners in Serbia, Law Office Pepeljugoski in North Macedonia, Kallay & Partners Ltd in Croatia, and Sajic in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The new additions will be coordinated and led via the Slovenia base, with the current Miro Senica managing partner heading up the network.

Further European growth is on the agenda. Andersen chairman Mark Vorsatz told Legal Week that the professional services giant's "hope and desire is that within the next nine to 12 months we would add another five countries in Europe".

Vorsatz added that the other goal for Andersen Global in 2020 is to substantially grow in Africa. The firm expanded significantly throughout the continent this year, and recently launched a presence in Namibia.

Earlier this year, Andersen Global made similar expansive efforts with its addition of Hamburg-based law firm Kolaschnik Partner Rechtsanwalte – its eighth office in Germany.
