Magic Circle firm Linklaters and Spanish heavyweight Garrigues have checked in for lead roles on British Airway owner International Consolidated Airlines Group's (IAG) acquisition of Spanish airline Air Europa for €1 billion.
Garrigues is advising IAG. The Spanish firm has fielded a team led by its executive chairman Fernando Vives, and joint partner in charge of the firm's corporate law department Álvaro López Jorrín.
