Morrison & Foerster has not promoted any London lawyers to its partnership in the firm's latest promotions round.

The firm announced it had promoted 18 lawyers to its partnership across its U.S., European, and Asian offices.

The firm, which had promoted one London lawyer to the partnership last year, made no partner additions to its office in the city.

However the firm promoted one European lawyer to the partnership – Brussels-based litigation lawyer Alja Poler De Zwart.

This year's promotion round counted eight women and ten men, and have been effective since January 1.

Larren Nashelsky, chair of Morrison & Foerster, said in a statement: "These extraordinarily talented and diverse attorneys are all thoroughly deserving of this recognition. Our new partners have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to our clients as well as their colleagues across the firm."

MoFo joins other U.S. firms in snubbing London in recent promotion rounds. Last year White & Case, Dechert and Ropes & Gray slashed their London partner promotions, while Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton also did not make up any London partners.
