We are excited to announce that Law.com has gone global with the launch today of Law.com International, a new website that allows readers to understand the key happenings in the legal industry around the world, while also drilling down into the regions most important to them.

Under our new International offering, we will bring you the same great content you have come to expect from Legal Week out of London and Hong Kong, now with additional content from reporters on the ground throughout six core regions: the UK, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East/Africa and North America. The content will focus on in-house legal departments, the business of law, regulatory climates, legal technology, international arbitration and more.

Law firms and corporations doing business internationally will now be able to access news, analysis and data about key happenings in the global legal markets from reporters on the ground in those locations. This coverage allows readers to know what it is like to do business in key regions and how the news connects across global markets.

"The world's top law firms are international businesses and general counsel roles are responsible for operations globally," said Paul Hodkinson, editor-in-chief of Legal Week, the U.K. arm of Law.com International. "We want to reflect the global nature of what they do in our coverage."

Our international editors based in London, Hong Kong and New York will work closely with reporters in those regions as well as Sydney, Paris, Brussels, Mexico City, Germany, Canada and elsewhere as the team actively looks to expand. In addition to the news, analysis, market reports and data projects such as the Global 200, our editors crystallize global events in our weekly briefings, The Global Lawyer and The Asia Legal Briefing.

To hear more from our senior international editors about their predictions for the global legal industry in 2020, sign up for our free webinar this Thursday, January 30.

Law.com International is geared toward global 200 law firms, global corporations and in-house departments, regional players in those global markets who compete against the larger entities and anyone in the legal industry with a need to understand the legal, business and regulatory climates in core global markets.

Are you a corporate lawyer in New York handling deals out of Latin America? Are you a law firm leader wondering what your competition is doing globally? Are you a London litigator handling international arbitrations in Singapore? Is your corporate legal department wondering how to address the patchwork of privacy laws across Asia, South America, the United States and Europe? Are you a legal technologist following new concepts out of Israel, China, Russia or Australia? Are you considering moving your business into a new market and wondering who the players are and what opportunities are there? Law.com International's team of journalists brings you the information you need to succeed in those areas and more.

"Law.com has long delivered news, data and analysis that leverages the deep connections its reporters have with members of the communities they cover," said Gina Passarella, editor-in-chief of ALM's global legal brands. "Law.com International leverages reporters embedded in key regions around the world, all working together to surface and explain the market challenges and opportunities facing law firms and corporations with a global reach."

How Does the Site Work

Our main International page showcases reporting from across the six regions we cover. Readers can also go to our Regions drop-down box at the top navigation bar to select a specific region to read about. Readers are able to set their browser to automatically open to a specific region or International as a whole. In the My Account section at the top right portion of their screen, readers can sign up for daily news alerts, breaking news alerts and our briefings for International, the UK and Asia. The site is updated daily, around the clock, as our global team covers the news you need to know and why it matters to your business.
