Taylor Wessing, DAC Beachcroft and Osborne Clarke have all joined the wave of firms targeting office moves both regionally or internationally.

Taylor Wessing is set to move its Liverpool base from its current flexible working space in Fax Merchants Court to the newly-refurbished Edward Pavilion, which sits on the bank of the river Mersey, the firm has confirmed.

The firm originally opened its Liverpool base in 2018 with the aim of delivering legal and business services in the region. The practice is currently led by partner Saleem Fazal.

The move comes as part of a wider consultation process into the firm's business functions which resulted in a number of redundancies in the firm's London office, the firm confirmed in a statement today.

Meanwhile, DAC Beachcroft has completed two office moves in Dublin and Paris, according to people at the firm.

In Dublin, the firm moved its 70-strong team, which includes ten partners, to newly refurbished offices in Percy Court near the city centre.

The firm also officially opened its new Parisian offices on avenue Kléber, a year after the firm officially opened its practice in the city.

Finally, in Bristol, Osborne Clarke is priming to move its 600-strong team from its current base in Temple Quay to a new-build site called Halo, in the centre of Bristol, the firm announced in a statement. The move, which is set to take place in 2022, will see the firm take over 74,000 square feet of floor space covering the top five floors.

OC has been at its current residence since 2002, but has ties to the city stretching back to the 18th century.

2020 is set to be a bumper year for law firm office moves. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is set to move its London headquarters to Bishopsgate in August, while Shoosmiths is jumping to larger offices in Milton Keynes.

Meanwhile, Magic Circle firms Linklaters and Slaughter and May are both reportedly in negotiations regarding their current office leases in London, while Baker McKenzie and Hogan Lovells are also deep into talks for a move.
