McDermott Will & Emery has hired corporate partner David Revcolevschi from Paul Hastings to its Paris office.

Revcolevschi joins after seven years as a partner at Paul Hastings. He advises on M&A transactions with a focus on capital markets and securities law.

Before his time at Paul Hastings, Revcolevschi was a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The addition brings the total partner count at the firm's Paris office to 24, according to the firm.

Grégoire Andrieux, managing partner of McDermott's Paris office said in a statement: "David's reputation in capital markets brings our clients a new depth of experience on our corporate M&A team, complementing our industry-leading private equity and industrial M&A practices.

"His sector-based approach, particularly in health and technology, also aligns with our development strategy".

The Paris legal hiring market has been busy in recent weeks. Franklin hired six partners and 18 associates while creating two new departments after it lost 27 lawyers to Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in January. Hogan Lovells also hired a partner and three associates from K&L Gates earlier this month.
