Hogan Lovells Amsterdam-based partner Anton Louwinger has left the firm to join CMS in the Netherlands—the second longtime Hogan Lovells partner in Europe to depart this week.

Louwinger, who had practiced at Hogan Lovells for 17 years, was previously at Arthur Andersen and at Deloitte. His practice at CMS will focus on real estate, corporate/mergers and acquisitions and banking and finance.

"This reinforcement of our tax expertise in the Netherlands is a strong contribution to the global strategy of continued development of CMS' tax practice," Stéphane Gelin, global head of CMS's tax group, said in a statement.

Hogan Lovells Paris partner Muriel Pariente left the firm as of March 1 to join Ashurst in Paris as head of the employment practice, taking two associates with her.
