Projects partner Caroline Ammundsen has left the Brisbane office of global law firm Ashurst.

Ammundsen specializes in advising resources, energy and infrastructure projects on environmental and planning approval requirements, environmental incident and prosecution management, compliance issues, water law, environmental offsets, contaminated land and mine closure, Ashurst said on her now-removed biography on the firm's website.

She previously worked at the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency (now the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection) where she was involved in the administration and enforcement of Queensland's environmental legislation.

Ashurst confirmed she has left the firm, but had no further comment.

Ammundsen couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
