Marc Elvinger, a corporate partner at Hogan Lovells in Luxembourg, has left the firm to return to the Luxembourg business law firm Arendt & Medernach as counsel.

Elvinger will work with the corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity and real estate practices, Arendt & Medernach said.

Elvinger joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in 2017 after practicing for 17 years at Arendt & Medernach, including eight years as a partner.

He is the third Hogan Lovells partner in Europe to leave the firm since the beginning of the year. Paris partner Muriel Pariente left after 14 years to join Ashurst in Paris as head of the employment practice, taking two associates with her. Amsterdam-based tax partner Anton Louwinger left after 17 years to join CMS in the Netherlands.
