Jones Day Adds Private Equity Counsel in Paris
Adrien Descoutures will join the firm's LBO team. He previously practiced at Freshfields, Weil and Baker McKenzie.

Jones Day has hired Adrien Descoutures, a private equity specialist, as counsel in its Paris office, working on the firm's LBO team led by partner David Swinburne.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Descoutures practiced as an associate with three Global 50 firms in Paris: Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; Weil, Gotshal & Manges; and Baker McKenzie. He advised HSBC on the transfer of various European branches surrounding the implementation of Brexit, and has acted for the private equity firms Blackstone, Carlyle Group and CVC Partners on various matters, according to Jones Day.
With the addition of Descoutures, the LBO team at Jones Day numbers 20 lawyers, including six partners and one counsel, Jones Day said in a statement.
