Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has promoted one lawyer to partner in its London office as part of a 13-strong global round.
White collar lawyer Andrew Good joins the partnership having joined the firm's New York office as an associate in 2008 and becoming counsel in 2014. He moved to the London outpost last year.
The single promotion is in line with what the firm did in London last year, when it also appointed one local lawyer in an 11-strong round.
Commenting on the promotion, Ryan Junck, head of Skadden's European government enforcement and white collar crime group, said in a statement: "Andrew is a key member of our growing European white collar and investigations practice, where we have seen enormous client demand for on-the-ground U.S. white collar expertise in Europe."
Three lawyers are also being made up in the firm's New York office, two apiece in Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington D.C., and one each in Hong Kong, Palo Alto and Wilmington.
Skadden recently hired two partners, George Knighton and Simon Toms, from Allen & Overy in London to boost its M&A capabilities in the city, while in February the firm brought in restructuring partner Peter Newman from U.S. rival Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.
