Linklaters has announced a bumper crop of partner promotions, adding 30 lawyers to the cohort, but has missed its gender target for the group.
The latest round is the second largest in a decade, following last year's 33-lawyer haul, and is the largest number of London promotions since 2007 at the firm.
Eight of the new partners are women, meaning the firm has missed its gender diversity target of 30% for new promotions.
10 lawyers have been promoted across the firm's European offices, including three in the firms Frankfurt office, three in Brussels and additional appointments in Luxembourg, Paris, Stockholm and Milan.
Elsewhere, the firm added three news partners to its Hong Kong office, as well as an additional partner in Bangkok. In the U.S. the firm added another partner apiece to its New York and Washington bases.
In a statement, Linklaters senior partner Charlie Jacobs, said: "Whilst the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy is something which cannot be ignored, we have always taken a long term view at Linklaters in relation to promoting talent.
"We are confident that these elections are testament to both the Linklaters' resilience as well as our strategy of continuing to attract, retain and invest in talent across our global network."
