Australian top-tier law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has hired an infrastructure partner from Pinsent Masons and a tax partner from local firm Allens.

Infrastructure and energy specialist Anthony Arrow joins the firm's projects practice in Melbourne from U.K.-headquartered Pinsent Masons.

"Anthony is a highly regarded and extremely experienced front-end construction, infrastructure and energy lawyer. He has more than two decades of experience advising governments, sponsors, developers and contractors across the full suite of procurement models, and is a strong addition to our team," Corrs head of projects Andrew Stephenson said in a statement.

Pinsent Masons' Australia head Matt Croagh thanked Arrow for his contribution and dedication to the firm and wished him well, noting in a statement that he was one of the earlier partners in the firm's Australia business and played a significant role.

Separately, indirect tax specialist Jennee Chan has joined Corrs' tax practice in Melbourne from Allens, where she was senior tax counsel.

"Jennee brings significant experience and expertise in stamp duty, particularly in relation to property and infrastructure, M&A, and energy and natural resources matters across all jurisdictions," Corrs head of tax Rhys Jewell said.

Allens wished Chan all the best in her new role.
