Mishcon De Reya has promoted two lawyers to the partnership as part of a reduced annual promotional round.

The all-female round is a marked decline on the previous two years where seven and six lawyers were promoted to partner respectively.

The new partners include commercial litigator Hannah Blom-Cooper and private client expert Alexandra Whiston-Dew, who also manages Mishcon's engagement in the SPITE project – a pro bono partnership with Queen Mary University – where she advises victims of revenge porn.

In addition, the firm announced that 14 lawyers have been promoted to legal director.

In a statement, Libson said: "This next generation of leaders, many of whom are great examples of home grown talent, have the ideas, entrepreneurialism and drive to help ensure we deliver on our 10 Year Vision and long term plans for growth – even in challenging times."

Mishcon recently launched a new office in Singapore, a move which came just months after it announced the closure of its New York base.

In March, the firm overhauled its senior leadership team, with managing partner of 23 years, Kevin Gold stepping down from the role to take up a newly-created position of executive chairperson for an initial five-year term.

Libson, who was the former head of the private practice at the firm, has taken the helm for an initial four-year term.
