Baker McKenzie has made leadership changes in several of its global practice and industry groups.
London partner Matthew Dening will replace Paris partner Michael Foudethakis as the new chair of banking and finance, while fellow London partner Helen Bradley replaces Brussels partner Koen Vanhaerents as chair of the global capital markets group.
London partner Karen Guch will take over partner David Allen's role as global private equity head while Allen takes over as head of corporate in London.
The firm has also announced that Buenos Aires-based partner Vanina Caniza will become the new global chair of the firm's healthcare group, replacing Sydney-based partner Ben McLaughlin in the role.
Meanwhile, Paris partner Alyssa Auberger, the firm's current chair of consumer goods and retail has had her term extended for another year. Frankfurt-based partner Nikolaus Reinhuber, who currently heads the industrials, manufacturing and transportation group, has also seen his term extended for three years.
The firm's global chairman, Milton Cheng, said in a statement: "I am delighted to welcome our new practice and industry group leaders to their positions. We have had plenty to be proud of this year despite the challenges we are all facing and I look forward to seeing how this new team will continue to drive our progress.
"I would also like to sincerely thank Michael Foundethakis, Koen Vanhaerents, David Allen and Ben McLaughlin for the exceptional leadership and service of, and contributions to, their respective practice and industry groups, supporting the needs of our clients and our people around the globe."
Baker McKenzie is the latest firm to shake up the leadership structure of some of its practices and industry sectors.
In April, Hogan Lovells announced a new U.K. head and the combination of several practice groups and regions. On Tuesday, the firm also announced the election of new board members.
