NautaDutilh has reappointed its current board for an additional two-year term, the Amsterdam-based firm announced.

In a statement, the firm said that at its annual meeting of shareholders, capital markets partner Petra Zijp, M&A and corporate partner Jaap Jan Trommel and tax partner Chris Warner, had been reappointed to the board, which they have led since 2017. The board operates as a collective and does not have a chairman.

As the coronavirus pandemic turns global economies upside-down, the firm's commitment to continuity was key to the decision to reappoint the collective, the firm said in the statement. Many of the firm's clients are affected by the current pandemic, the firm said.

"Our clients currently have their hands full with the coronavirus crisis. From state aid measures to negotiations that are coming under pressure, the majority of our practice groups are working round the clock, like our successful restructuring & insolvency team and our competition practice," managing partner Jaap Jan Trommel said in the statement.

NautaDutilh is an international law firm specialising in Luxembourg, Belgian and Dutch law. The firm was founded in 1724 and is one of the largest in the Benelux, with more than 400 lawyers, notaries and tax advisers working out of offices in Luxembourg, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London and New York.
