U.K. charity Diabetes UK has hired Ian Naylor as its new head of legal and compliance, the organisation has confirmed.

He joined this month from HR association CIPD where he was head of legal for over five years and most recently acting legal and governance director, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Naylor replaces Zoe Ballantyne, who joined World Wildlife Fund for Nature UK (WWF) as its new general counsel earlier this year.

Naylor has held a number of in-house legal roles according to LinkedIn. He was previously group legal director at human resources group Thomas International and Randstad UK.

Other recent moves in the in-house market include the departure of Ofcom's longstanding GC Polly Weitzman, who has left after 15 years to join U.K. fibre broadband network provider CityFibre.

Meanwhile, Morrison & Foerster's former head of global M&A Graeme Sloan has been appointed as Audal Group's interim GC, according to LinkedIn.
