Baker McKenzie has promoted 85 lawyers to partner globally, in its largest round since 2016.
The majority of the firm's new lawyers hail from its tax and dispute resolution practice groups.

In its Asia Pacific bases, including Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok and Sydney, gained 18 new partners, while the remaining lawyers were promoted across the firm's U.S. offices.
Women accounted for 41% of this year's promotions, which is around the same figure as 2019.
This is the firm's largest partner promotions round since 2016, when 85 partners were also promoted in total.
