Raymond McKeeve has taken up a new role, a month after the High Court dismissed allegations of contempt of court against him.

Former Jones Day partner Raymond McKeeve has joined boutique law firm Avonhurst, a month after claims of contempt of court against him were dropped.

McKeeve, who left Jones Day at the beginning of January after seven years at the firm's London base, is now a senior advisor at Avonhurst, according to the firm's website.

The firm was set up in July last year by former Jones Day capital markets and funds partner Jonathan Bloom.

In January, Law.com International revealed that McKeeve had taken up two new roles. The first was as group chief transaction and legal officer at aviation-focused investment firm Cingo Global. The other was as part-time senior advisor and non-executive director at San Francisco-based wealth management and financial advisory firm Azura Partners.

A person close to the matter confirmed that he will continue to occupy those roles in addition to his new position at Avonhurst.

Jonathan Bloom, CEO of Avonhurst, said in a statement: "An established private equity specialist and former global transactions lawyer, Raymond brings both private practice and in-house experience to our team."

McKeeve was previously subject of a contempt of court case brought last year by online supermarket delivery service Ocado.

In December, a London High Court hearing investigated claims that he ordered the destruction of documents relating to an ongoing wider dispute between his client, Today Development Partners, and Ocado. According to court documents, McKeeve had self-referred to the Solictors Regulation Authority for his actions.

In June, a U.K. High Court judge dismissed the contempt of court claims brought against McKeeve.
