If Australia's largest law firm by number of partners, HWL Ebsworth, goes ahead with listing on the local stock exchange, it will join a handful of listed law firms, some of which have run into difficulties since joining the bourse.
HWL Ebsworth is readying for a share market float that could value the firm at A$1 billion ($720 million), according to a report this week in the Australian Financial Review.
