King & Wood Mallesons has advised the National Australia Bank in the sale of its MLC investment management business to investment manager IOOF Holdings—the last of Australia's major banks to exit the wealth sector.
Mergers and acquisitions partner Diana Nicholson led the team advising on the A$1.44 billion (US$1.07 billion) transaction, with support from partner Will Heath.
