The District Court of The Hague has ruled in favor of Chevron Corp. in its long-running dispute with the Republic of Ecuador, which sought $9.5 billion for pollution and other damages caused by drilling in the Andean country’s rain forests.
Linklaters dispute resolution partner Gerard Meijer in Amsterdam secured the decision on behalf of Chevron and its subsidiary Texaco Petroleum Co.
