Skadden Grabs Freshfields M&A Star Embley
It is the latest departure of a Freshfields partner to a US firm.

U.S. firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has poached Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's M&A client group co-head of M&A Bruce Embley, Skadden announced on Friday.
A Freshfields partner of 15 years, Embley has worked on some of the firm's biggest deals of the past few years, including AB InBev's $103bn combination with SABMiller, and the first U.S.-U.K. dual-listed company merger, according to his website profile.
He is expected to join his new firm on November 1, a person close to the matter said.
