The U.S. firm advised the U.K. government on buying a $500 million stake in a bankrupt spacecraft manufacturer.

The U.K. government paid out over £1 million to law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges for legal advice concerning its acquisition of bankrupt satellite manufacturer, OneWeb.
In total, the U.S.-based firm received the sum of £1,174,034 for its role advising on the deal, according to the latest spending figures released by the U.K. Treasury.
