U.K. lawyers “may become unable to operate in the EU” under U.K.-specific limited liability partnership (LLP) structures if the U.K. and the EU fail to reach an agreement, a Parliamentary committee has warned.

A report published on Tuesday by the House of Lords European Union Committee warns that without U.K.-EU arrangements, U.K. lawyers and law firms would “stand exposed to a range of establishment and investment barriers across the EU and the EEA.”
