Allen & Overy partners are currently voting on changes to its remuneration structure, with the vote set to conclude within two weeks, according to one person at the firm.
Partners are voting on proposals which could see the top of its equity ladder extended among other changes, according to two people at the firm.
One partner at the firm said: "It's no mystery to anyone that, like all of our peer firms, we have to make some decisions regarding remuneration. Management is going to have to do something."
