U.K. Top 50 firm Shoosmiths has commenced a redundancy consultation affecting over 50 roles at the firm, it confirmed on Thursday.
Cuts are set to impact support staff primarily, with 52.5 roles put at risk, the firm said in a statement. A spokesperson added that the redundancies are the result of the firm identifying more efficient ways of working in recent months during the COVID-19 pandemic.
