A former trainee at Travers Smith has been banned from working in the legal industry by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in the latest example of a junior member of the profession being barred for dishonesty.

Robert Fitzgerald-Crisp, who worked at the firm for two years until September 2019, was rebuked by the U.K. regulator in May after he was found to have taken “steps to mislead his colleagues regarding an email he sent to his employer’s IT department” in April 2019.
