King & Spalding is acting pro bono for the wife of murdered Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko as she seeks €3.5 million in compensation from Russia, following her husband's murder by radiation poisoning in 2006.

Russian spy Litvinenko was, according to a 2016 inquest, murdered by radiation poisoning in London by Russian security services. Now Litvinenko's widow Marina Litvinenko has filed a claim at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) requesting damages and payment for accumulated lost income, according to The Guardian.
