Top-end law firms are forming alliances with on-the-ground African firms across the continent and this trend in all its forms is booming.

The legal alliances market is gathering increasing momentum and providing more options for smaller African firms to piggy-back onto the big brand names instead of going it alone.
These dynamics, have led to this market becoming more competitive over the past four to five years, said Roddy McKean, director at Kenya-based Anjarwalla & Khanna (A&K).
