Singapore International Arbitration Centre Launches 1st Office Outside of Asia in New York
U.S. parties rank consistently among top foreign users of the arbitral institution.

The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has launched a representative office in New York, marking its first representative offices outside Asia.
The new outfit will be led by Adriana Uson the institution's head of Americas. Uson sits on SIAC's panel of reserved arbitrators. Until June this year, she was an associate at the Singapore office of Norton Rose Fulbright and had previously spent three years as counsel in SIAC's secretariat.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
