Australian law firm Clayton Utz and global firm Herbert Smith Freehills have acted on a $1.4 billion global lithium joint venture between Australian and Chinese partners.
Clayton Utz has acted for China-based Tianqi Lithium Corp. on its entry into agreements to create a global lithium joint venture with nickel and gold miner IGO Ltd., an Australian publicly traded company, the firm said in a statement.
